On My Way

Leaving tonight for South Carolina to stay with family.  Then Sunday we will head over to West Virginia for a few days.  I'm bringing my laptop so we will see what happens!  Maybe I'll look at things through the eyes of a travel agent or pretend some big corporation has sent me to critique hotels.  The food channel might want me to try and eat for a day on ten dollars and the cameras will follow me around.  

Or maybe I will just take it for what it is and enjoy whatever happens.  I said goodbye to my son today; his last day on this job--starts his new one on Monday.  I told him the tears in my eyes were because when he does find his own place; the awesome t.v. will go, the blue-ray player, and his shun knives will have to be replaced with my kitchen-aid set. Sigh.........

Talked to my mom this morning; they are getting excited I'm coming.  Really don't know why--I tend to give her a hard time with some things--I like to push.  It's been six months since I last saw them and this will be the first time that I'm coming home to see them--nobody else.  Well my sister lives there--but she is like a butterfly--never landing very long in one place.

Oy--Shaun Hannity is going crazy in the kitchen on the radio.  Ok---ok--I know the economy is down the drain but really Shaun--the president plays no role in the quality of my life.  Set your eyes on things above and God will pour His Grace on you down here on earth.
