Taking a Break

Literally--I'm taking a break from cleaning house.  I was checking my facebook; I had posted that my facebook has become extremely boring.  It's probably due to me unfriending a bunch of people on my account.  I did keep all family members and few friends--who were my neighbors.  But I don't have farmville anymore posted on my facebook.  I didn't realize how wrapped up my identify in the cyber world had become with farmville!

I've discovered hulu on my laptop and watched the first show of Mary Tyler Moore last night.  I love that show.  I actually was on my own when I was eighteen.  Those were fun days--very self-centered--but fun.

I'm fifty years old and I can't get the delete and the backspace buttons straight.  I'm always hitting the wrong one and erasing the wrong thing.  Plus on a laptop, if your wrist lays a certain way things disappear on your screen or off.

I'm getting a blood test in the morning one of those that you can't have anything to eat or drink before hand.  In talking with my Dr. the other day he suddenly realized that I had turned fifty this year.  He got real excited and told me that it was time for a colonoscopty.   I just looked at him and said, "Sorry--not going to happen."  Hated to disappoint him; but not everything is up for sharing.

Well.....guess I need to get back to my cleaning.  I have to stop around eleven and grab some Firehouse subs---my daughter comes over everyday during her lunch break.  It's nice....we don't get to hang as much as we use to it seems.
