Did I or Didn't I..........

I'm in the shower this morning standing...as water is cascading down my back.  Did I already wash?  I couldn't remember....I'm in the shower so I know I'm taking a shower...but I couldn't for the life of me remember what I did wash in the shower.  Did I or Didn't I?

"Mrs. Holmes I gave you my book bag yesterday."  Did she?  I couldn't find it in my room and I couldn't remember if she actually gave it to me.  Did she or Didn't she?

I pull in the driveway after work and noticed the carport light was still on.  That's odd....as I pull the car in not only is the light on.....but the back door is wide open.  It was dark when I left this morning, I was rushing, trying to get out by 6:45 a.m.  not p.m.  I can remember getting the paper and sticking it in the car; I wanted to look at the ads.  But that's all I remember except for throwing up a prayer for protection over the house (I do this every morning).  I can't remember actually going back and shutting the door.  Did I or Didn't I?  

I did go through the entire house and things were fine--thank God for that.

Is this how my new year is going to be?  Maybe I'm just having an odd day as a result of way too much on my plate right now.  That's it; this is the forget your normal routine day.   Yes, I'm sure....or am I?
