Keeping Focused

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Romans 12:2

Easy for me to get caught up in a "routine" with Christ.  It was brought to my attention that I can hear Christ speak when I am spending more intimate time with Him.  If I'm not careful my time with Christ turns more into a time clock discipleship.  Just stopping by and putting in some time so I can mentally check it off.

My communication has been fuzzy between us (the Lord & I) this past week.  Should I or shouldn't I--yes or no?  It dawned on me I am more decisive when I spend more time in fellowship; I'm not teetering on things that were made known to me.

Time is underlined because of all things; that is the hardest for me to give Christ total control over.  Sunday I heard a really good sermon on this very thing; being willing to give your all to Christ.  And not expecting to receive in return.  God may or may not; it's all according to what is best for you in His Plan.

What's your hardest thing to let go?
