Fading

Have you ever been in a room full of people and yet feel like you are invisible?  Have you ever belonged to a place for over fifteen years and yet sit by yourself?  Have you ever joined things in order to become closer to people and nothing comes of it?  Have you ever sat and smiled acting like it doesn't matter and yet it does?

Proverbs says to have a friend you are to be friendly....check--I've done that--am doing that.

Not self-pity---but self reflection.  Maybe I have such a need to be noticed that God has put a cloak of invisibility over me.  Maybe I am being reduced to nothing....on purpose.

I would ask a question---but I never get a response. (okay-that was self-pity)
