Control the Flow

Great Thinking, Great Life

One of the most life-changing revelations we can have is to find out that we can do something about our thoughts.  We can practice "on-purpose" thinking.  We do not have to meditate on everything that pops into our minds; we can choose what we want to think about.

We can choose power-enhancing thoughts--not power-draining thoughts.  We can be deliberate about what goes on in our minds.  We can break up with bad habits and form good habits.  Learning to think great thoughts on purpose is the key to a great life. (Joyce Meyer-Power Thoughts)

I picked a waterfall because sometimes when negative thoughts start it becomes a flow--pretty soon my mind is overflowing with negative thoughts.  I like this concept of "on-purpose" thinking; being deliberate with my thoughts and what I allow to stay.

Crazy week at work this week; a lot of drama going on (which I secretly love).  I almost stepped into some of it yesterday; but I actually told the person that I was going to "step away from this and mind my own business."  I'm finding that the more you are in God's word; the more His Spirit really makes you aware of your actions and what they need to be.

Okay, I did it. I just ordered her book from Amazon. I am SO much enjoying the excerpts, but kept forgetting to order it. Done. Merry Christmas to me, ha ha ha!

Thanks,
