God will show us what to do to "clean up our thinking", but He will not do it for us. He gives us His Word to teach us, and His Spirit to help us, but only we can make the decision to do what we should do. You can learn to think properly and powerfully if you want to; it will take time but it is an investment that pays great dividends. I LOVE that God created us with a free will, not like robots. Not because that means I can go and do my thing (though I do that too much).
But because that helps me understand why He--all powerful God of the universe who needs nothings--values and wants our love. He treasures it because it IS freely given. Love is a choice, ours to withhold if we choose.
Goodness... how did I get on that subject??
I started out meaning to say I really liked--and needed--to be reminded that the concept of improving our lives by improving our thinking was GOD'S IDEA, not some motivational speaker.
