Starting Monday I will post in the evenings when I get home. I really need to keep the computer off in the mornings to be able to leave at 6:50 a.m. My day begins at 4 as I stumble (no really--stumble) towards the coffee. I have a special place that I spend time with the Lord in the mornings and will write if anything speaks to me. Sounds holier than thou as I write this; but it's a struggle. I hold onto the promise that those who seek the Lord will find Him. I'm aware it needs to be the total package; spending time reading God's word & spending time talking--just talking to God.
I'm logging in 2 miles on the treadmill before work; so there goes my time.
You've heard if you pray for patience--hold on; I've been praying to have more of a calm spirit (my family just got really excited) and it's been a rough week at work. I have never been through so much drama this year trying to work with my six teachers. I know what Satan is doing and my post that I will write on Monday fits it beautifully.
I have six reading groups and the majority of these children are boys. This will mean I need to talk less and let them do more. Boys are simple--low drama and they are very direct. The students at my school are black and live in poverty; the school is totally free lunch. The black race has more collagen in their skin; it's very hard to tell the age of an adult. My hands are skinny with veins showing everywhere; it was the topic of discussion with my boys yesterday. One child after tracing the veins on my hand, looked at me and said, "You must be really old".
Did I mention I'm turning 50 next month?
So, we will see how this goes posting in the evenings! Thanks to all those that tune in every now and then; if only for a minute.

Ah, the innocent comments of youth!! Gotta love it. A sense of humor comes in handy, yes!?

4 a.m.? Wow. Don't think I could manage that! I have a hard enough time getting up at 6:30- though I've been trying to get up at 5:30, but it's been a few days!
Ha, kids can say the craziest things.
