Well here I sit in the "library" of a hotel called The Inn in South Carolina. My husband and I have really made ourselves at home. Freshed brewed coffee (courtesy of the clerk), I'm sitting at the desk typing, he is in a chair watching the history channel.(We are NOT in our room, we have taken over a community room in the hotel and made it our own) This is a very pretty hotel and there are only 6 people staying here tonight.
Six people--I wonder why? No, I really do not want to know why they are only at a 5% capacity tonight. It's been a week, a lot going on, I'm sure everyone can identify with that one. When I look in the mirror lately; I look different, tired maybe? I plan on focusing on some healthy "me" time the next two weeks--I want my real age to be my real age. I don't want to look and act older than I am--really I don't.
I always come back around to the fact that we bring a lot of unnecessary stress to our lives. Satan doesn't have to work that hard; we do a lot of it ourselves. Maybe we give him way too much credit for things; I need to step back, reflect, make changes, and keep on moving.
This is nice, I wonder if the clerk would mind if I came back in my PJ's! This really does feel like home to me.

Well, I'm glad the hotel has such a "homey" feel to it....but why is it so quiet?
Maybe ppl don't usually stay at hotels in the week before Christmas?
I've no idea...
Well, it sounds like you fit right in. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you coming back down in your pj's.
Glad you are comfortable. Have a wonderful stay.

Oh, I sooo agree with you! Especially this time of year if we say yes too much and get overcommitted... good thoughts to mull over.

Sometimes I just pray "Lord, protect me from myself." I bring on so much of my own troubles it's not even funny!
Sounds like a great time.
