I'm new to blogging and for some reason it is filling a need right now in my life. I think it has something to do with having my daughter leave and I am left with two men. ......yes, this is how quiet things are unless my mouth is moving. I have a list of blogs that I enjoy following; the talent is unbelievable. My first non-family follower, Kathryn, has a wonderful blog called: From the Inside...Out. Herein lies the dilemma; when a person comments and I want to make a respond comment, do I comment on my blog or travel on over to that person's blog to respond to their comment? Help is needed here please!
I love magazines and don't mind buying them because I give them away when I am finished. I read an article about a woman who decided instead of the New Year's resolution in January; she would make one every month. She wrote a book about it, honestly I never can think of these things fast enough. Well, I decided to do better than that; I'm going to make New Day Resolutions. Yes, one new thing everyday that I will change or make better.
I already started today, I put my fork down when I detected my stomach was full. I have a bad habit of eating like I have a dial a stomach--like a cow.
I better stop; I think I'm better focused when there is scripture involved!

Hello there. About your dilemma, I'm not really sure if there is proper etiquette regarding responses to comments. I usually go back to the commenter's blog if I need to respond, but then again, I've also just responded on my own blog. You can also send emails to respond to comments. I prefer to go directly to the commenter's blog but I guess that depends on my mood also.
So, to respond to the comment you made on my blog inquiring about the types of books I read, I thought I'd bounce on over to your blog to respond. I mostly read non-fiction books. I read a lot of personal development books on success and leadership, personal finance and biographies. I also love books on spirituality, astrology, true crime, psychic phenomena, really just about anything in which I can learn something new. When I read fiction I usually go for Nicholas Sparks or suspense thrillers.
I buy magazines too often. I think it's a sickness with me; at least that's what my husband would say.
Congratulations on your first day's resolution. I seem to always over eat and I eat the wrong things. I made chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans for dinner. I over ate. I'm very proud of you for putting your fork down.
Hey, sweetie! I think you can go either way and be within the "correct etiquette" of blogville....either re-commenting on the blogger's post or shooting a quick email. I know that I probably drive some commenters crazy when I ask a question in my response to them, but I really DO wanna know the answer!
Excellent idea to put DOWN the fork! I have a tendency to want something sweet after a meal. That's when I have to JUST SAY NO.
