Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Psalm 96:1
Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him. Psalm 98:1
I'm not a singer by nature. When I sing in the classroom the looks on my students' faces lets me know where my talents are; and it's not in the vocal cords. These verses are talking about your attitude. I like to listen to Joyce Meyers and I have a series on the mouth. Believe me; I need a complete series for that topic.
Joyce states that complaining is an attitude of the heart because we are being inconvenienced. There are more good things that are happening than bad things; but we tend to focus more on the bad things. This blows the bad things way out of proportion to the good things (Who's on first--What's on second-sorry I made myself dizzy reading this paragraph).
As believers in Christ; we know that our circumstances shouldn't dictate our attitudes. Today I'm going to notice which theme song is taking place in my heart. "Make the world go away" or "There is Sunshine in my soul today"

I listen to Joyce Meyer too. I like the idea of what "theme song" is playing in our hearts.
