My Thanksgivings

I will be way too busy tomorrow fixing dinner; so I thought I would take time this morning to jot down a few of my thanksgivings! They are not written in order of importance.

I am thankful for this country and the freedoms we have. Having been to South America and Mexico, I have seen abject poverty within a country. Stepping back into America is wonderful.

I am thankful for my family; they are a blessing to me. I have a husband who has always put his family first and is a wonderful provider. Our two children have been nothing but a blessing and joy in our lives. Our new addition to the family, Jackie, has just increased our blessings.

I am thankful for my extended family, who over the past twenty-eight years, has been a wonderful lifeline for me.

I am thankful for the first cup of coffee every morning, no Folgers didn't pay me to say this!

I am thankful that when the Lord opened His arms to me; I responded by letting Him into my heart!`

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

What I love so much about Thanksgiving is that it encourages people to think about all of their blessings-something we may not do throughout the year.

More than anything, I am thankful for my family's love and my health.
