Quotes

I bought a new book from simpletruths.com (a wonderful web-site) and the title is "Learning to Dance in the Rain The Power of Gratitude". I love quotes; to me they are perfect bite size nuggets of inspiration.

As you wander through life, brother, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the donut, and not upon the hole!

The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings (Eric Hoffer)

When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us. (Alexander Graham Bell)

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. (Carl Bard)

Be miserable or motivate yourself, whatever has to be done, it's always your choice. (Wayne Dyer)

The last one is my personal favorite.

Side Bar: I went to the Cotton Pickin Fair yesterday with Rachel, Jackie, Richard, Nicole, and four other friends. We had a great day--I never knew there could be so much joy in eating anything battered and deep fried. We went from funnel cakes to fried pickles at the end!
